Processed data

If you use our website, we may process personal data about you. This data includes through the contact form: your name, organisation, e-mail address and telephone number.

What do we do with your data?

Nsecure may only use your data for specific, lawful purposes. These are:

  • Handle questions and/or requests you submit via the contact form and liaise with you about them.
  • Improve our website.

From what basis does this happen?

In order for us to process your personal data, we must be able to use one of the six bases under the AVG. The basis we use when processing the data mentioned above is ‘legitimate interest’. This means that such processing is necessary to carry out our business activities.

Transfer of personal data

Some personal data we process from you may be passed on to our suppliers, for example: We work with a company that hosts our website. Data you enter in the contact form is stored on a server in this supplier's data centre. We make agreements with this party/parties about the security of this data and record them in a processor agreement.

Personal data security

We must properly secure the personal data we process about you. The measures we have taken are technical, physical and organisational. Nsecure is certified in accordance with the international information security standard ISO 27001.

Retention period personal data

Nsecure stores your personal data no longer than necessary for the purpose of processing, and never longer than any period permitted by law. For example, we delete the data you enter in the contact form after one month.

Your privacy rights

The privacy legislation stipulates that, as a data subject, you have a number of rights:

  • Right to information (articles 13 and 14 AVG): we must inform you if we process data about you and inform you about the purposes of this. That information is included in this privacy statement.
  • Right of inspection (Article 15 AVG ): you have the right to inspect the personal data we process about you as the Controller.
  • Right to rectification (Article 16 AVG): you have the right to have any incorrect personal data we process about you corrected by us.
  • Right to oblivion (Article 17 AVG): you have the right to request us to delete your data, provided that we are not required by law to retain it or have another legitimate reason to do so.
  • Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 AVG): you have the right to obtain restriction of processing, for example if the accuracy of the data is questioned by you.
  • Right to data portability (Article 20 AVG): you have the right to receive the data processed by us from you in a structured, common and machine-readable form and to request us to transfer this data directly to another Controller. This only applies if we process this data of yours on the basis of consent or performance of a contract.
  • Right to object (Article 21 AVG): you have the right to object to our processing of your data.
  • Right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making/profiling (Article 22 AVG): we do not use automated individual decision-making/profiling.
